FALSE PROPHETS (AKA FRAUDS/DECEIVERS/FALSE
PROFITS/HYPOCRITES) [Special Note: The
HEAL Mission site works best with Internet Explorer and Firefox. If you have
difficulties viewing our pages, please try a different web browser.]
COPE MINISTRIES and THE HEAL MISSION
are expanding the scope to include any and all "False Prophets" that
include, but, are not limited to: vitamin/supplement industry,
self-help frauds, academic frauds, healthcare frauds, segregated
congregate care frauds, environmental frauds, animal welfare frauds,
cults (for profit and/or that clearly use some form of coercive
thought reform/undue influence of recruits involving vicious
deception), and similar entities. We will be asking everyone
with a complaint against a business to report it to their home
state's attorney general via a consumer complaint (links to online
forms found here under your home state's
header) or report false advertising and misleading marketing to the
FTC. The government
itself is faith-based in many ways and presumes everyone is innocent
and there is no pre-crime unit. Up to 85% of fraud is not
discovered by the victims within the window to recover damages where
a person of reasonable intelligence exercising due diligence
would've identified the issue before the statute of limitations ran
out. According to some sources, 96% of fraud cases go unsolved
and unresolved. Those false prophets making false profits need
to be stopped. And, by reporting it in a timely fashion to the
proper authorities, you can help stop those evil deceiving devils!
So, it is our hope that you will report it to the proper authorities
and if it is too late for that,
let us know. We'll make
sure the court of public opinion learns of the outrage to protect
others from falling victim to the same criminal/sinful enterprise.
This Church is committed to the Absolute Truth and All Virtues
combined as an Abstract Archetype that is universal, eternal,
perfectly heroic, and
perpetual many (including Minister Angela Smith) refer to as GOD.
We do not support hypocrisy and welcome criticism ourselves and are
open about our imperfection. We are a faith-based mission and
church and
we believe victims.
Skip to the list or keep
reading.
All segregated congregate care providers, including those
on our watch-list, are welcome to contact us to correct any information or
provide additional data that may assist with delivering the whole truth to the
public. We've found in many cases where this offer has been abused or
resulted in revealing additional basis for our concerns. For some examples
see: http://www.heal-online.org/tcfl.htm,
http://www.heal-online.org/bolthouse.htm and
http://www.heal-online.org/abundant2.htm. Now, we are willing to
look at the facts and may have questions or require documentation backing up
any claims. We do verify licensing, academic backgrounds, and other
qualifications when investigating and researching programs on our watch-list
to assist consumers seeking additional information on such programs or victims
requiring assistance with getting corroborating evidence of their claims.
We do that in order to make sure the information we provide is accurate and
verified and cite our sources. In the event any information we've posted
is in error, we're happy to make a correction. And, for information on
how such requests are handled and have been resolved historically, see:
http://www.heal-online.org/requests.htm.
HEAL does not
support segregated congregate care for many reasons which include that many
such facilities are abusive, exploitative, fraudulent, and lack effective
oversight often as a result of fraudulent misrepresentation coupled with the
ignorance of those seeking to enroll loved ones in such facilities, programs,
schools, or centers without a valid court order and involuntarily. In
the United States such involuntary placements done without a court order are
apparently illegal as they either violate the Americans with Disabilities Act
community integration requirement or due process rights of those involuntarily
placed. Now, in regards to parents, in the United States parents have
the right to waive their own rights, but, not the rights of their minor
children. See http://www.heal-online.org/legalarguments.htm for more information.
Now, most facilities on our watch list include waivers, indemnity clauses, and
sworn statements parents must sign assuring the program that the parents have
the right to make the placement involuntarily and without due process in a
segregated congregate care environment, however, California and federal
prosecutors as well as settled law appears to suggest that is not the case.
In fact, in the David Taylor case found at
http://www.heal-online.org/provocases.htm, Taylor sued Provo Canyon School
and his mother as co-defendants. His mother was found liable for 75% of
the damages awarded to Taylor as a result of multiple complaints including
false imprisonment, while the program was found only 25% liable because the
mother owed a duty of due diligence to investigate anyone to which she would
entrust care of her child and she failed to do so.
Now, HEAL
opposes segregated congregate care and we find most placements are happening
illegally in the USA which if the youth understood their rights would result
in unfortunate outcomes for the parents, particularly when they don't exercise
good judgment and support the fraud and abuse rather than their own children
when they need remedy and justice. And, HEAL supports all victims of
fraud and abuse in seeking remedies at law for any crimes or torts committed
against them. And, that's true whether or not the program or victims are
in the USA.
HEAL has a 5 point argument against segregated
congregate care we'd like you to consider:
a. Segregated care is
unconstitutional and a civil rights violation. It is only permissible if
a person is unable to survive independent of an institutional environment.
For more on this, watch the HEAL Report at
https://youtu.be/C4NzhZc4P0A.
Or, see: http://www.ada.gov/olmstead/ which includes in part:
"United States v. Florida – 1:12-cv-60460 – (S.D. Fla.) – On April 7, 2016,
the United States filed an Opposition to the State of Florida’s Motion for
Partial Summary Judgment. In the Motion, the State had asked the Court
to rule, on a variety of grounds, that the United States could not recover
damages for unnecessarily institutionalized children to whom the State had
been deliberately indifferent."
b. Institutionalization is
always dehumanizing and coercive. Institutionalization always harms the
institutionalized and deprives them of protected civil rights. Dr. David
Straker, Psychiatry Professor at Columbia University's School of Medicine (Ivy
League) explains this in detail at
http://changingminds.org/disciplines/sociology/articles/institutionalization.htm.
"Many institutions, from prisons to monasteries to asylums, deliberately want
to control and manage their inmates such that they conform and do not cause
problems. Even in less harsh environments, many of the institutionalization
methods may be found, albeit in more moderated form (although the
psychological effect can be equally devastating)." (See website linked
in this paragraph for more info.)
c. Institutionalization is not
in the best interest of children. Institutions are not ever better for a
child than living with a loving family. Source:
http://www.unicef.org/cambodia/12681_23295.html
Beyond the above arguments against segregated congregate care, we have
reports from the NIH, Surgeon General, Yale University Studies, and much more
showing the methodologies of behavior modification are damaging, harmful, and
ineffective. You can request these documents via
e-mail. In addition, for such programs offering academic services or
claiming to offer diplomas, certifications, or the like, it is important to
check to see if it is a diploma mill with no accredited academic services.
Please see article: "Avoiding
Scams: What You Need To Know"
for important information on how to avoid education/training scams.
If you have a complaint against any facility, please file a complaint
with the appropriate law enforcement agency or your home state's attorney
general. For reporting resources see: http://www.heal-online.org/report.htm.
SPECIAL NOTE: HEAL cares. We recommend
victims report crimes and violations to the proper authorities in a timely
fashion within the statutes of limitations to get justice regardless of nature
of offense. HEAL can't take anonymous reports to the authorities and
demand action. Even when we get reports that are requested to be kept
confidential yet reported to the proper authorities, that doesn't achieve
anything. The authorities consider any reports HEAL makes for
third-parties to be hearsay which doesn't work for probable cause for an
investigation by the proper authorities. Now, if you just want to submit
a complaint and treat HEAL like a complaint board, it has to be under penalty
of perjury with the understanding we may have to use it if the program you are
complaining about decides to challenge the veracity of our content. We
believe you. We know what goes on at these places. And, the above
article explains why it is not in the best interest of children and youth to
be segregated like criminals from the rest of society unless indeed criminals,
and, even then it's not good for the criminals, just arguably for society.
HEAL is prioritizing constitutional freedoms and individual liberty which
includes respecting the rights of others to make decisions that don't
adversely effect you in a manner legally actionable. You may also find
the following article helpful if you need help figuring out the way to start
exercising due diligence and thinking totally for yourself rather than
responding to emotional cues or stimulation to make you feel momentarily happy
with a purchase until you have a house full of junk and don't know why your
kids never leave the house even when their 50. Some people
over-compensate in segregated congregate care for what they see as
slothfulness in their wards by forcing them into labor trafficking. And,
a little teaching of responsibility or respectfully addressing that while
acknowledging one's own failures in that regard prior to the teen years, might
resolve a lot of family differences. Here's the article:
"How HEAL Identifies
and Defines Cults".
ADDITIONAL NOTE: HEAL does our best to protect
our sources. But, with journalism or investigative reporting we have to
independently verify claims made against facilities/programs/cults/etc on our watch-list.
We do this in a few ways. We see if others who were enrolled at the same
time can confirm an incident. We check to see if there are any reports
to the proper authorities about claims made that we receive. We consider
lawsuits or other evidence of sworn testimony ample verification for reporting
purposes. Where we are unable to verify any individual complaint for any
reason beyond the word of the party reporting to us, we ask that said be made
in the federal declaration/under penalty of perjury format. But, that
does not mean that additional evidence doesn't exist, just that we're not
privy to it. So, in the event you'd like to share your experience and
don't wish to make a public record with the proper authorities, you may not
wish to submit a statement to HEAL for publication if concerned it could
potentially become part of a public record where we weren't able to
independently verify your claims. But, you should consider creating your
own website, blog, Youtube video(s), write a book, or find some independent
way to share your experiences. And, send us the link to any of that and
we'll either share it on Twitter
or if a program currently on the watch-list, add the link to the staff/info
page. We appreciate your understanding and support of the
#FirstAmendmentRevolution. And, while faith-based, COPE Ministries and
the HEAL Mission, believe everyone acting in good faith will show the courage
of their convictions by at least sharing in the under penalty of perjury
format. If you don't have the courage of your convictions and wish for
us to assume all the risk, you are acting like the frauds we expose who fail
to disclose all the details while asking their victims to assume all the risk
for their "benefit". If you turn around and demand that of us, you are a
hypocrite. We act in good faith and hold others to the same standards we
hold ourselves.
"Trafficking
can occur in many licit and illicit industries or markets, including in
brothels, massage parlors, street prostitution, hotel services, hospitality,
agriculture, manufacturing, janitorial services, construction, health and
elder care, and domestic service." (From "...Addressing Human Trafficking of
Children and Youth in the United States" report at:
https://www.acf.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/cb/acyf_human_trafficking_guidance.pdf
) If you oppose human trafficking and don't want your children or loved
ones trafficked for sex or labor, don't entrust their care to out-of-home
placements and be careful not to let traffickers provide in-home care or
services.
Residential treatment and wilderness "therapy" programs have been
denounced by the National Institute of Health as being harmful to
children and families as well as ineffective in dealing with teen
problems. There are multiple resources that expose the fraud and abuse
of this industry. Some authors to check out are Dr. Peter Breggin,
Alexia Parks, and Maia Szalavitz. Dr. Peter Breggin is author of
multiple books regarding appropriate treatment for teens (see
Reclaiming Our Children
by Dr. Peter Breggin). Alexia Parks authored "An
American Gulag"
exposing the "teen help" industry and Maia Szalavitz has written two
great books exposing the fraud and abuse inherent in this industry,
"Tough Love America" and "Help
at Any Cost".
We suggest parents do not remove
their children from their home environment for any reason as the Office of
Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention reported that even when a severe
or criminal issue is present with youth, a family home is the best
environment for correcting the situation and encouraging proper
socialization. (E-mail [email protected] and request that
report if no longer available
online.) Leading expert in adolescent psychology and former head of the
Department of Psychology at the University of California--Berkeley,
Dr. Margaret Singer, has spoken out against these programs in great
detail saying that they make a child's worst nightmare of abandonment
come true and that the people who run these programs are slick
businessmen with no training or expertise in helping teens
appropriately. Maia Szalavitz, author of "Tough Love America", cites
the National Institute of Health studies on these programs that have
determined that they are harmful and not helpful to teens or their
families. Szalavitz also stated on the Jan. 18th, 2005 episode of
Montel Williams that even when children/teens pose an immediate threat
to themselves or others that at most a short stay (1-4 weeks) in a
local psychiatric hospital to deescalate the situation is what is
needed followed by intensive out-patient family counseling.
For more information on this issue visit:
http://www.heal-online.org/teen.htm.
On the HEAL website you will find links to lawsuits, news articles, and
survivor websites detailing the abuses experienced at these facilities.
Also, please take a moment to read the open letter quoting government
and private entities with their true intentions in these matters by
visiting www.beyondbusiness.net/openletter.htm.
It is imperative that you DO NOT send your child to an out of state
behavior modification program. It is imperative that you DO NOT send
your child to any program that limits or denies contact between you and
your child at any point in their stay at the facility. It is imperative
that you DO NOT send your child to a facility that you yourself will not
be monitoring on at least a weekly basis in person to monitor the
treatment and well being of your child. Be responsible, for the sake of
your children.
We recommend no one send children to a facility that matches
any of the criteria on our warning signs list at
www.heal-online.org/warn.htm.
We have successfully exposed the abuses at Bethel Boys Academy (now
closed), Bethel Girls Academy (now closed), CEDU Family of Programs
(all programs now closed), Mountain Park Boarding Academy (now
closed), and many others. We had proof of abuse at CEDU programs up
for years prior to their being closed down on Friday, 3/25/05. The
system sometimes takes too long to catch up with justice and truth.
That's why we exist. We exist to warn and protect families from
abusive behavior modification programs.
Also,
we believe ALL programs outside of the US are suspect and ask that you
read the U.S. State Department’s warning regarding international
programs by
clicking here.
Do not, under any circumstances, risk your child’s life in a program
outside of the U.S.
HEAL is not a referral
service. We do not advocate placement of children in unregulated,
private and/or public, behavior modification programs or facilities. Please do not
contact us for referrals or approval of your subjecting a child to this
corrupt and destructive industry.
If you or your family
were defrauded, abused, and/or subjected to human and civil rights
violations, please get legal assistance now. The statute of limitations
varies from state to state. You have a limited time to file a claim.

The "schools"/programs
listed on our site fall under three categories: Investigating, Suspect, and
Confirmedly Abusive. A program categorized as "Investigating" is a
program that we have been contacted about and which we have been asked to
research. Being "investigated" by HEAL does not imply a program is
fraudulent and abusive. It simply means we were asked to research the
program by families or officials who are considering placement at the
facility or who have reason to believe HEAL should investigate and/or expose
alleged fraud and abuse at the facility. If a program is categorized
as "Suspect" it means it meets one or more criteria (i.e. sister program of
confirmedly abusive facility, shares staff with an abusive facility, or one
or more complaints regarding the facility are on file with HEAL and/or
proper regulatory and enforcement agencies, etc.). A program
categorized as "Confirmedly Abusive"
matches multiple warning signs of an abusive facility, has been sued or
faced official complaints, and/or HEAL has received two or more
substantiated reports of fraud and abuse regarding the facility.
Understand that this is an incomplete list and that it is your
responsibility to look heavily into the program(s) into which you consider
placing your child. Some of the programs listed below are international
programs that have been found to be abusive. And, some are programs which
have been investigated and determined to be abusive by other organizations.
We have added links and brief details where applicable regarding known
abuses and reports.
Decoding The List:
We have color-coded the three primary categories as
follows:
Investigating--
Programs that we are investigating per the description provided above are
listed in "Yellow". For example,
HEAL is currently investigating Youth Reach in Alabama.
So, in the list below you will see Youth Reach written in yellow.
Sometimes programs that are confirmedly abusive remain on the investigating
list until we have an opportunity to create a staff list and perform
additional research substantiating reports of fraud and abuse. We
appreciate your patience.
Suspect-- Programs
that are suspect per the description provided above are listed in "Orange".
For example, you will see Lyman Ward Military
Academy/Southern Prep written in
orange. No complaints since the name change at time this was
written (7/23/20), but that is subject to change as is this page.
Confirmedly Abusive--Programs
that are confirmedy fraudulent and/or abusive per the description provided
above are listed in "Red". For
example, you will see Provo Canyon School
written in red as well as other facilities
run by its current parent company, UHS, Inc.
There are dozens of warning signs that a facility is
fraudulent and abusive. We have created a 5 point system to help
parents determine if a program is fraudulent and abusive. We have
created a chart using the 5 point system to help identify fraud and abuse at
residential and wilderness programs. And, we have incorporated the
chart to include our entire watch-list covering all categories referenced
above.
The Five Point System:
Unlicensed--A "Yes" in the "unlicensed" point field
below means that the program is not properly licensed to provide services it
claims to provide. A "?" in the "unlicensed" point field below means
that we do not know if it is properly licensed and have been unable to
verify licensure. A "No" in the "unlicensed" point field means that
the program appears to be properly licensed in all regards.
Restraint--A "Yes" in this point field means that
the program engages in physical interventions with clients that may include
violent restraint, physical abuse, or the use of pain to change behavior
(i.e. Judge Rotenberg Center uses
electro-shock devices to cause pain whenever a child is not perfectly on
task (such as failing to make eye contact). A "Yes" means that
restraint is being used inappropriately and in instances that do not involve
a legitimate imminent threat to a child's individual physical safety or the
individual physical safety of others. A "?" in the "Restraint" point
field means that we do not know if it engages in physical interventions as
described above. A "No" in the "Restraint" point field means that we
have no evidence suggesting the program engages in improper physical
interventions.
Solitary--A "Yes" in this point field means that the
program uses solitary confinement (aka isolation, observation, "time-out",
investment, etc.) on clients.
Solitary confinement is a form of torture.
A "?" in this point field means we don't know if it uses solitary
confinement or not. A "No" in the "Solitary" point field means we have
no evidence suggesting the program uses solitary confinement.
Incommunicado--A "Yes" in this point field means
that the program restricts, monitors, censors, and/or denies contact between
captive clients and the outside world (including immediate family).
Being held incommunicado is
indicative of a high risk for serious abuses
(including torture). A "?" means we do not know if captive
clients are held incommunicado by the program or not. A "No" means we
have no evidence suggesting the program holds clients incommunicado.
Deceptive--A "Yes" in this point field means that
the program engages in deceptive marketing, false advertising, and/or other
forms of fraud. A "?" in this point field means that we don't know if
it is engaging in deceptive practices. A "No" in this point field
means that we have no evidence suggesting the program engages in deceptive
practices.
We have changed the list and removed the drop-down
menu. If you are looking into a specific program, please use the
following tips. If using a PC (not a Mac), hit "CTRL+F" and enter the
name of the program then hit "enter key" or "return key". If using a
Mac (not a PC), hit "Command+F" and enter the name of the program then
hit "enter". The Command key on a Mac is also known as
the Apple Key or Clover Key.
The programs are in list form below and separated
according to location. For instance, all programs on our list
operating in Alabama will be under "Alabama". Again, we remind
everyone this is an incomplete list and we whole-heartedly advise against
enrolling any loved ones in any segregated congregate care program or
facility (i.e. wilderness program, boarding school, behavior modification
program/facility, residential treatment center, group home, or the like).

THE VITAMIN/SUPPLEMENT
INDUSTRY: YOU NEED TO CHECK THEIR PATENTS. HERE'S WHAT
THAT WHOLE INDUSTRY IS ABOUT AND BASED ON: "And yet in another
respect, many other fruits, vegetables, herbs, and seeds in addition
to cranberries have been scientifically shown or are widely believed
through apocryphal evidence, to have other beneficial health
effects. In their natural forms, most of these fruits, vegetables,
herbs, and seeds cannot be directly ingested (due to palatability as
well as other concerns). Many of the extracts produced from them
have only captured a portion of the bioactive compounds. There is
thus a distinct need for a new processing method which can capture
the full synergistic and beneficial activity of these plants in a
palatable concoction which retains the beneficial activity of the
natural forms, and also provides for easy transport, easy
formulation into unit dosages, and long-term shelf life without the
need for refrigeration...." Source: US Patent # 6,440,467
found at
https://www.uspto.gov/patents-application-process/search-patents
Now, if the above doesn't persuade you that vitamins/supplements are
a total scam, maybe you don't know what "apocryphal" means.
Apocryphal means highly doubtful but widely believed to be true.
Do a google definition search and that's what you will get when
searching for "apocryphal". So, if you find eating food not
palatable and want a juiced or dehydrated tiny piece of real food in
a pill that may or may not contain anything it claims because you
ignore disclaimers when you shouldn't, then, perhaps you actually
want to put unknown substances in your body rather than eat food
which suggests you suffer from Pica. Now, if you go to the
patent search above and search for "apocryphal" you'll find more
than that patent on supplemental food processing using that word to
describe their "evidence". The New York Times reported "The
New York State attorney general’s office accused four major
retailers on Monday of selling fraudulent and potentially dangerous
herbal supplements and demanded that they remove the products from
their shelves. The authorities said they had conducted tests on
top-selling store brands of herbal supplements at four national
retailers — GNC, Target, Walgreens and Walmart — and found that four
out of five of the products did not contain any of the herbs on
their labels. The tests showed that pills labeled medicinal herbs
often contained little more than cheap fillers like powdered rice,
asparagus and houseplants, and in some cases substances that could
be dangerous to those with allergies." Source:
https://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/02/03/new-york-attorney-general-targets-supplements-at-major-retailers/So, if you know someone who takes them, break it to them
gently and if you are currently taking them, you likely want to stop
wasting your money and/or request a refund while submitting a
complaint to the proper authorities.
We have solely done outreach to
vitaminshoppe.com in offering dietary supplement retailers and
manufacturers a means to meet our minimum Honesty In Marketing
Standards to be featured at
https://www.cope.church/standards.htm
should they meet the following criteria/requirements for
"graduation" or upgrade in status: "In order to remove the dietary
supplement market or that section from our site, we'd need all
dietary supplements to include the following in their labeling:
"Dietary supplements may not contain product described on label.
Those with allergies or concerns about unidentified substances
should avoid taking dietary supplements. Dietary supplements are at
times synthetic so petroleum by-product and/or when organic simply
small portions of juiced or dehydrated food some find unpalatable
who may be suffering from Pica and need healthcare." Something along
those lines and disclosing the actual patent number on any patents
relied on for the products by the entire industry and/or your
meeting said standard with your product line would result in placing
you (if not the entire industry) on the Honesty In Marketing
Standards page at
https://www.cope.church/standards.htm .
We look forward to hearing from you and you may alert Minister
Angela Smith at
[email protected] if you meet
the criteria or wish to "Submit
Feedback".
ANIMAL RIGHTS/VEGANISM The animal rights
movement and call for veganism is based on misleading and/or false
information or a misunderstanding of where human rights are actually
at as a matter of law. Human beings who are deemed incompetent
as a matter of law as a result of not recognizing the difference
between right and wrong or truth and fiction become wards of the
state and/or require a competent human be responsible for their care
and supervision. So, with nonhuman animals who do not
understand or comprehend human systems of law and social
expectations to keep the peace must have human guardians. And,
as a matter of law and practicality those guardians need a means of
acquiring and maintaining resources to responsibly care for their
wards (human or nonhuman). And, for incompetent humans that
often means sex and labor trafficking in segregated congregate care
which often results in premature death. So, it seems that
nonhuman animals have the same rights as incompetent humans and
require assistance in reporting criminal abuse and exploitation to
the proper authorities who will then seize and/or transfer them to
likely a similar storefront or service, but, maybe a good one that
is actually ethical. But, the point is nonhuman animals
currently have equal rights with incompetent humans at law.
Even when it comes to euthanasia or "pulling the plug" where someone
holds the power of attorney for a loved one that is human but
incompetent or unable to make decisions for themselves. So, to
improve animal rights, improving the rights of imcompetent humans
may be where to start. Animals currently have equal rights to
incompetent humans with exception that eating incompetent humans is
illegal in most jurisdictions where eating other species is not.
And, given the majority of species (including plants) on the planet
are omnivores, democratically speaking the omnivorous lifestyle wins
and evolution of plants and animal species supports this for anyone
who has studied zoology, anthropology, botany/gardening, and
evolution. Also, the vegans claim that they save lives by
preventing animals from existing in the first place. "The way
a vegetarian saves animals is by reducing the demand for meat and
causing fewer animals to be born into a harsh life owned by the meat
industry, where callousness abounds and mercy is scant."
Source:
http://www.countinganimals.com/how-many-animals-does-a-vegetarian-save/
That's not saving lives, that's promoting extinction because you
think not existing is better than existing if you have to live in
those conditions. And, it is pathetic because instead of
putting time, energy, and resources into actually making the world
more hospitable for all life, including nonhuman animals, you've
decided to promote extinction and call that saving lives. It's
one of the most despicable things and made even worse by the
environmental argument which PETA claims "Raising animals for food
requires massive amounts of land, food, energy, and water and causes
immense animal suffering. It takes an enormous amount of water
to grow crops for animals to eat, clean filthy factory farms, and
give animals water to drink. A single cow used for milk can drink up
to 50 gallons of water per day—or twice that amount in hot
weather—and it takes 683 gallons of water to produce just 1 gallon
of milk. It takes more than 2,400 gallons of water to produce 1
pound of beef, while producing 1 pound of tofu only requires 244
gallons of water. By going vegan, one person can save approximately
219,000 gallons of water a year." Source:

So, they argue there will be less animals because of reduced demand
they won't be produced and you'll save resources for human use that
would be used to care for the animals raised for human use.
But, the amount of food waste, including a lot of animal products
(20% never make it to retail and go straight to landfills) annually,
shows that it doesn't reduce production and just leads to waste.
Source: https://cok.net/food-waste-america/
So, not saving lives nor reducing production with the vegan
lifestyle.
So, we believe we've effectively established above that
nonhuman animals and incompetent humans have the same or basically
the same rights right now so there is no need for an animal rights
movement calling for equality or equal treatment of humans and
animals because we are already treated equally in the eyes of the
law with competency being the standard bearer. And, since we
support and revere life and accept that there is both joy and
suffering in the spectrum that is existence, we support
utilitarianism with humane living conditions and that abuses of both
incompetent humans and nonhuman animals be reported to the proper
authorities in the proper jurisdiction where the offenses occurred.
And, people who can't be bothered to do the work (nor share the
wealth with actual farmers who could use the help to improve actual
living conditions for the animals) and when they rescue animals just
kill them because caring for them in their condition or natural
state is too difficult can shut the fuck up. Farms are
beautiful, farmers are lovely, and nature is God's creation for
which we are stewards and sowers not solely reapers. So, it is
COPE Ministries and the HEAL Mission's position that the animal
rights movement/vegan movement is ignorant, hypocritical, deceptive,
misleading, and deserving to be on this list.
Raw, Honest, Unflinching v. Machiavellian on Cause(s) of Climate
Change
by Minister Angela Smith, COPE Ministries and HEAL Mission
Co-Founder
If you care to debate me on any topic, join www.debate.org and
challenge "heal247" (sans quotation marks) by entering "heal247"
(sans quotation marks) in the "Opposition" field when you create the
new debate. Am I playing "devil's advocate"? You decide. The
Guardian reports that 97% of climate scientists agree that climate
change is caused by human activity.[1] The
Guardian cites the study cited by most when using that statistic
which is available here:
https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/8/2/024024.
But, the overall consensus considering all climate scientist
research puts the consensus that humans cause climate change at
32.6% according to that exact study. There was a second part to the
study, with a much smaller sample, which identified and then
eliminated 35.5% from that sample since from the sample of the
larger data those didn't take a position on whether humans had an
impact on climate change and were disqualified from inclusion in the
second part of the study for that reason. So, the remaining 64.5%
were split with 97.2% of that smaller sample supporting the position
that climate change is caused by humans and 2.8% of that 64.5%
saying they reject that position. So, in full context of the study
of the smaller sample, the actual percentage of those endorsing from
that smaller sample is 62.56% if you include those who find the
science yet undetermined. Phytoplankton, land-based plants, and
nonhuman animals reportedly make up most, if not all of that which
significantly contributes to climate change.[2][3][4]
Arguably some sources are better than others, but, we should all
think for ourselves freely and independently and not subject
ourselves to believing bullshit as a result of undue influence.
So, in the event you don't trust anyone including the government,
you should be fine because you don't trust anyone which would mean
you are likely not trusting those who would deceive you for vicious
purposes. Now, if you don't trust a specific group and join a
cult/tribe of some sort that also decides they distrust or even uses
your distrust to "enemy of my enemy is my friend" you, then you are
being a hypocrite or dishonest in regards to not trusting anyone.
But, if you trust as if you are an innocent babe without a caregiver
you desperately need because of your own sheltered existence and
lack of awareness that fraud and other crimes happen on a regular
basis that law enforcement can't prevent, but, can and will respond
to if there is sufficient evidence for a warrant or arrest, then you
really need to either become more assertive in exercising due
diligence and aware of the world around you and your own reasonable
responsibility for yourself and/or anyone who is your dependent in
any way. There will never be a pre-crime unit like in
"Minority Report" starring Tom Cruise in the USA and if anyone
thinks about creating one, they will be violating the US
Constitution and specifically Bill of Rights. And, all the
government requires of We the People is that we assume the
responsibility granted to us by the US Constitution which are
protected by the Bill of Rights and vice versa. So, as
citizens we must actively protect ourselves by not being distracted
by shiny happy people defrauding us and take action to make sure our
wallets or loved ones are not spirited away by frauds or human
traffickers because "they seems so friendly and I was so emotional
so I just signed the contracts without even reading them".
Read the contract should one exist and where one doesn't get a
receipt. If you don't understand the contract, don't sign it.
Take it to a lawyer and have them explain it to you, legal aid
offices can help with that too if needed. If the terms are
described as "illusory" or "unconscionable", that means the
contract/agreement is likely voidable on those grounds and evidence
of fraud. Regulation of corporations doesn't prevent
malfeasance or corporate wrongdoing. The same or similar rules
apply where enough evidence exists for a warrant provided by a
direct victim or witness to the crime/violation(s). So, all
the regulations in the world don't matter unless properly reported
with often a direct victim who has suffered financial or bodily
harm. And, until all those who commit fraud or crime stop
doing it on their own or are apprehended, we all need to be
vigilant, but, not vigilantes.
This is intended to be helpful but no one, including anyone at HEAL
Mission and COPE Ministries wishes to do your thinking for you nor
all the specific research you may wish someone else would do that
would be helpful to you before making any purchasing decisions for
goods or services. We research in our own time and as quickly
as we can given limited resources ourselves. And, we listen to
victims and provide all opportunity to help educate the public about
the risks involved in failing to exercise due diligence. "An
ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." What does that
mean? It means that if you spend a little more time asking
questions and considering facts before purchasing goods and services
that you might totally avoid the hassle of having to sue, file
criminal charges, or consumer complaints later. But, if you
don't do that little bit of due diligence and critical thinking
beforehand, a lot of frustration and possible injustice depending on
when you realize you're a victim. The links in the first
paragraph can help get you started on more tips and ideas for what
alerts to sign up for and through what office(s) in your state or
jurisdiction. But, if you don't trust the government, don't
trust anyone else either. In 2015, the report shows 21,995,000
employed by US Government. Source:
https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/21955000-12329000-government-employees-outnumber-manufacturing
And, the largest employer in the US is Wal*Mart with 1,500,000
employees. Source:
https://chicago.suntimes.com/2019/3/30/18395895/here-s-a-list-of-the-largest-employer-in-every-state
And, there are 331,000,000 people in the US. Source:
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/3-ways-that-the-u-s-population-will-change-over-the-next-decade
That means about 7% of the US works for the government, or 7/100,
3.5/50, 1.75/25, average it at maybe 2 out of every 25 people work
for the government. So, if you want the government to enforce
laws for your protection, you have to trust the government enough
with that task by at least showing willingness to show up and report
it in a timely fashion as well as help prevent crime by exercising
personal responsibility including due diligence. But, if you
don't trust the government you should probably stay off the internet
and if sincere about that probably stopped reading after maybe the
first sentence of the second paragraph.
You have two options:
1. Sufficiently protect yourself by exercising due diligence
and avoiding becoming a victim of fraud while understanding it is
rampant in many sectors including healthcare, academic fraud, and
all sorts of scams. Know what you
are getting out of any contract in actual benefits (not illusory)
before signing or paying anything to anyone. Verify
licenses, credentials, and check for online reviews.
2. Whether you reasonably exercised due diligence or not, once
a victim don't deny it and throw tantrums as if in some cult, but,
acknowledge it and file complaints with the proper authorities where
a crime such as fraud (theft by deceit) or human trafficking has
occurred. And, know if the HEAL Mission and COPE Ministries
can help, we will. Truth and Justice is our main priority as
both are names of God.
But, that's it. There is no third option where you don't
protect yourself, get hurt, and then just demand everyone prevent
all possible harm that may occur to anyone else at all times through
the legislative process and having other people assigned to monitor
us all individually and collectively to make sure we're not
victimizing each other in some way. That's simply never going
to happen and is really unreasonable to request or suggest
otherwise. Many of us go above and beyond in doing our part to
protect our fellow citizens and support law enforcement. But,
if you require supervised care and a responsible adult that
exercises due diligence to prevent any and all possible harm that
may befall you, then may you find the level of support you require
while understanding you are then admitting to incompetence at law
most likely and may be stripped of rights along with relinquishing
your responsibilities in the social contract that is the US
Constitution and all applicable laws. So, make sure you are
responsible enough to report crimes or sue within the statute of
limitations where otherwise you couldn't or didn't avoid becoming a
victim through no fault of your own. Sometimes shiny happy
people can tempt even a poet with the heart of a mystic, but, not
for long. And, emotional growth is bullshit, people really
need to work on critical thinking and honest reasoning.
Emotional growth happens in it's own way over time and if you
prioritize emotions, you end up with what we're all dealing with now
in the world of politics and often public discourse.
Prioritize critical thinking in business matters or any matter in
which you may part with cash. Feel good about the smart choice
even if instant gratification followed by bitter disappointment
seems good in the moment. The rest is up to you!
